Recognizing the importance of a multidisciplinary team, we also offer services that may involve working with other paraprofessionals, including teachers, psychologists, and other therapists supporting your child. This includes, attending school meetings, and/or consulting and collaborating with other therapists/educators/psychologists that work with your child; this can be facilitated in person, or via phone/online. This approach allows for cohesive communication and collaboration between everyone working with your child, ensuring their learning environment and experience are enjoyable and successful.

Part of this educational consultation may include school observation. School observations will support the inclusion and learning experience of your child within educational environments. Our therapist will spend time observing your child within the classroom environment – assessing the child/teacher/peer interaction, behaviour, and learning. Through observation, we are able to offer insights and strategies for overall improvement of your child’s schooling experience. Upon completion of an observation, our therapist will find a convenient time to meet with teachers and families to share their observation notes and assessment.

Fees vary depending on the child/family goals and needs, the type and degree of consultation, number of consultations required and/or observation periods.
